In this intensive personals workshop, we will explore effective techniques, prime flower & foliage variety choices, and environment-friendly packing techniques for the execution of the personals part of your wedding clients’ orders with ease. We will begin with a farm tour, followed by an afternoon in the barn as Jennifer & Scott lead detailed demonstrations for each of the following personals items: flower crown/dog wreath, boutonniere & pin-on corsage, hair flowers & wrist corsage. Come learn how to hand-wire for stability, design flexibility, and professional finish, choose the right blooms & foliage, and finish off and package these incredibly popular, time-consuming, and labor-intensive wedding pieces. Leave with a partial or complete wrist corsage, boutonniere or pin-on corsage, hair flowers, and part of a flower crown or dog wreath. Crowns and wrist corsages can take hours a piece, so the level of doneness depends upon the individual stylist. You will feel confident and have all the skills necessary to create each of these pieces before the end of this workshop!
We can't wait for you to play with these wonderful pieces. This workshop is capped at only 8 participants for a unique and intimate experience working with flowers, so don’t wait! This workshop will fill up quickly. We have a porta-potty on site, and there will be light refreshments served. Please wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty as our farm is a working farm with animals around. We are handicapped accessible, there is no use of stairs, but surfaces are rough and uneven.
