Hand-Tied Lush Bridal Bouquet Workshop, all levels
Come learn how to make a lush bridal bouquet using the European spiral technique and a loose, woven technique here on our farm on SPRING DATE TBA! Gain confidence styling with early spring blooms like ranunculus, anemones, narcissus, tulips, and fragrant foliage on our farm. This workshop begins with a field tour of our plantings and is followed by a detailed demonstration by Jennifer. Participants will have plenty of time to practice making their own lush bridal bouquet, from start to end trimming and ribbon wrapping. Take home your bouquet in either a Kraft paper wrap or deconstructed in a glass vase for an effortless table centerpiece. This workshop begins with a farm tour and will offer the opportunity to pick some special blooms for your own centerpiece before styling in our 1840s barn with pre-harvested blooms and foliage picked just for you from our farm. We will cover all the important topics, like stage of harvest, conditioning, stripping, placement, end-trimming, pinning and wrapping, balance, structure, movement, color, light, dimension, and more. We can't wait for you to play with these wonderful spring blooms! We can’t wait to work with you! This workshop is capped at only 6 participants for a unique and intimate experience working with flowers, so don’t wait! This workshop will fill up quickly. We have a porta-potty on site, and there will be light refreshments served. Please wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty as our farm is a working farm with animals around. We are handicapped accessible, there is no use of stairs, but surfaces are rough and uneven.
